Don't Be A Know-It-All

Hebrews 11:8 "By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing where he went."

It was a Monday morning, after an anointed Sunday service, and I was standing in the hallway of the offices where I worked at the time as a staff minister at Faith Fellowship Ministries World Outreach Center.  I saw my pastor walking toward me, I still remember where I was standing, when he spoke these words, "Joe, I want you to go to Mullica Hill and preach on Sunday, then I have others lined up for each Sunday thereafter."

Little did I know that going to preach that one Sunday would cause a total change in my life, wherein I would move my family to Mullica Hill and pastor a church in southern New Jersey.  Sometimes you don't understand or know the full picture, but as you obey that first step, the rest of the blessings begin to open up to you.  Obey what God is telling you today and tomorrow will take care of itself.  People often say to me "I wish I knew where I will be in five years from now", yet we can barely handle today!  Remember, God's blessing comes one step at a time.  Two-thirds of the name God is "go"!  You don't have to be a "know-it-all" before you begin to move out into God's destiny for your life!
