Me me me me

John 6:35 “And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to Me shall never hunger, he that believeth on Me shall never thirst”

Have you ever heard someone warm up their voice to sing? It might sound like this, “Me me me me”. Or they do drills with their tongue, or breathing exercises, or they drink tea, and suck on throat lozenges. But “me me me me” is still the tried-and-true way to do it.

Did you notice that in John 6:35-40, Jesus said the word “me”, 10 times? Wow. I would say HE wants to be the “Me” in my life, so it’s not all about me. He wants to be my only Source. My only Source of peace, fulfillment, health, blessing, increase, career, in relationships, and everything good. If Jesus is my only Source, He promises I will never hunger and thirst for a thing. My response, “Thank you Jesus, it’s all about You You You You!”
